What kind of books do you write?

I write genre-defying fiction that blends literary storytelling with elements of speculative fiction, paranormal themes, and mythic undertones. My work explores identity, inheritance, grief, transformation, and the spaces in between. I also write non-fiction focused on growth, accountability, and self-awareness.

Do your books need to be read in order?

Some of my works are interconnected, particularly my duology, where themes and characters may carry across books. Others can be read as standalone pieces.

What inspired your writing?

Much of my work is inspired by lived experience, a multi-faith upbringing, cultural identity, and the tension of belonging both within and outside of established spaces. I write what sits beneath the surface—what isn’t always said out loud.

How long have you been writing?

I’ve been writing for over twenty-five years. For much of that time, I wrote privately, completing multiple manuscripts before ever sharing my work publicly.

Why did you start publishing now?

Publishing was a decision that came after years of writing in private. It marked a shift—from creating for myself to allowing the work to be seen, interpreted, and shared.

Do you write full-time?

I balance writing with a full professional life. Much of my writing has been done in the quiet hours—early mornings, late nights, and weekends.

What is your non-fiction about?

My non-fiction work focuses on personal growth, emotional awareness, and the patterns people repeat when they don’t take time to examine themselves. It is more direct and unfiltered than my fiction, but rooted in the same core truths.
